EASY COMPOST FOR BEGINNERS | Compost for your vegetable garden

This video shows you how to make your own compost easily at home.

To add to the information presented here:

1. Be extra careful when watering your compost pile. The pile should be moist but not wet. Do avoid heavy watering and proceed cautiously if you are adding water. Too much water is not good for the compost it will smell and the compost rot becomes soggy.

2. If you are using other containers as your compost bin, do ensure there are holes on the base. For my pots, they are all with drainage holes.

3. For better break down of organic materials chop and cut your kitchen scraps into smaller chunks.
