Harvesting the Big Squash and Saving Seeds to Save Money - September Allotment

This week I have continued to harvest like it’s going out of fashion. More tomatoes, cucumbers, summer squash and beans a plenty.

I’ve also been harvesting my big winter squash to take home and continue curing in the sunshine.

It’s a great time to save seeds right now and I’m collecting as many sweetpeas seeds as I can as they will grow just as well as bought seeds but without the cost.
