how to make a cedar clad feature wall in a garden room

Hi
We are cladding this wall in cedar to create a feature wall, the battens are run down from cedar cladding and have been ran through the thicknesser and are approx 36mm x18mm.
The wall is clad in 9mm OSB, then plaster board with skim finish.
We face fixed the strips and will fill and sand to finish.
The paint is Dulux emulsion in anthracite, or near enough!
