Brassicas such as Cabbage, Kale, Brussel Sprouts, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Swedes, Turnips etc are reasonably easy to germinate and grow, however the most difficult part is usually growing them to maturity and protecting them from birds, insects and other predators; as everything seems to like them!

In this video I show you how I prepare the ground, add essential nutrients, plant out, water and protect my Cabbages, Kale and Brussel Sprouts to encourage a successful harvest. The techniques demonstrated can be used for all types of brassicas. I hope you enjoy the video and pick up a few tips along the way!
